Margot Robbie named as newest ambassador for Chanel Fragrances

CHANEL has announced Margot Robbie as their fragrance ambassador following her success as the face of Coco Neige last year, a collection that revisited the world of ski and winter sports with classic Chanel elegance.

Australian-born Margot Robbie earned international praise for her breakout performance in The Wolf Of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese. She was nominated for an Oscar at the 90th Academy Awards ceremony for her portrayal of Tonya Harding in the film I, Tonya, and wore a Chanel Haute Couture gown custom designed for her by Karl Lagerfeld.

The young actress launched LuckyChap Entertainment in 2014 with the goal of telling the stories of female characters, led primarily by female directors and writers. Margot Robbie has played many strong women, such as Queen Elizabeth in Josie Rourke’s film Mary Queen Of Scots, and will also play the role of actress Sharon Tate in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

On being the new fragrance ambassador for Chanel, Margot Robbie commented: “It’s a dream to represent such a timeless and iconic brand. The history of the Chanel woman is so exciting, and the brand has remained such a powerful feminine standard of style.”
