THE ITALIAN luxury fashion house Tod’s has just unveiled the appointment of their new Creative Director, Matteo Tamburini.
Tamburini has worked in the industry since the early 2000s, with his previous position having been at Kering’s Bottega Veneta, where he worked since 2017.
The designer will replace Walter Chiapponi, Tod’s former Creative Director, who resigned from the brand in July this year and showcased his final women’s spring-summer 2024 collection during September’s Milan Fashion Week.
Tamburini will be head of creative direction for the women’s and men’s line at Tod’s, with his first creative output for the brand being the autumn-winter 2024 women’s collection, which will take place in February 2024 in Milan.

I identify myself with the brand’s values and the continuous pursuit of high quality and style it has undertaken until now, and I look forward to contributing with my expertise.”— Matteo Tamburini.
