MFW SS25: Brunello Cucinelli

The label blends Riviera-inspired garments with the mysterious allure of desert dunes.

Tailoring lovers, brace yourselves: Brunello Cucinelli’s spring-summer 2025 collection took on a journey to craft a unique and harmonious style lexicon. The verve of a lush Mediterranean coast, rich in nature and encounters, comprises the fascinating and silent atmosphere of the desert.

The set-out course shapes new harmonies and contrasts, perfectly guided by the points of Brunello Cucinelli’s identity. The stylistic journey forges an elegant and relaxed world, rich in tailoring and craftsmanship, interwoven with influences, empathy, and connections. The most precious elements take on a casual spirit, while everyday dressing is elevated to a minimalist and refined aesthetic.

Crisp matching sets meld the masculine and the exotic with a preference for the value of form. Timeless classics are enriched with a touch of lightness, while utility references introduce functional accents on feminine fabrics for blazers, skirts, and trousers.

Knitwear is the cornerstone of exploration and experimentation: mesh stitches play with soft geometries, weightless volumes are traced by craquelé-effect embroidery, and exquisite macramé brings three-dimensional patterns to life. The yarn is reborn, whether free or interwoven, as sophisticated designs display raw sparkling fringes or fluid metallic textures.

Various touches of red, Oxford blue, and navy sketch the world of the Riviera, complemented by the elegant and luminous presence of Panama white. The variety of stripes evokes the fresh breeze of a lighthouse reinterpreting retro style and nautical settings with precious blends that feel light and feminine. Experimentation with embroidery and handcrafting transforms shoes and bags into special accessories.
