Omega debuts its Constellation collection

A NEW Constellation collection that merges time with jewellery – meet Omega’s latest offering.

With the swirling pattern on its dial, each of the new timepieces exudes a hypnotic, graceful formation that channels the cosmos, and notably, the constellation star that sits at 6 o’clock.

A favoured motif of the brand, the spiralling symbol was first introduced by Omega in 2008 and was since adopted during the full makeover of the Constellation range – fast forward to 2024 – and the elegant style sees a comeback in a host of hues, across 20 individual choices, and three sizes: 29 mm, 28 mm, and 25 mm.

In most models, the brand has utilised electrochemical etching to accurately form the pattern, showcasing the brand’s commitment to advanced watchmaking technology; for the iridescent mother-of-pearl dials, the same result is achieved through laser engraving.

For a further nod to the Constellation’s heritage, each new watch is adorned with emblematic features including the half-moon facets at each end of the case, and a diamond-paved bezel that threads between the famous claws on either side.

There are three size options too, with models in classic steel, full 18K Moonshine as well as 18K Sedna Gold, or a mix of both steel and gold to appeal to various tastes and looks.

When it comes to precision, the 29 mm models offer performance that’s assured with a Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre, a mechanical movement that is evident through the sapphire crystal caseback, and guarantees an exceptional standard that is approved by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

As for the smaller 28 mm and 25 mm quartz models, accuracy is via a Constellation Observatory medallion, that us stamped on each metallic caseback.
