PFW SS15: Hermes

After four years of collaboration with the luxe house, Christophe Lemaire presented his last show for Hermes with a SS15 sophisticated, classy collection.

Neutral clean shades of white and cream on a sand covered catwalk, baggy culottes and leather shorts topped with silk shirts reasserted that simplicity is the ultimate elegance; Emphasizing the value of hand-craftsmanship with fabrics made out Hermes scarfs, airy skirts in pleats with wool blouses and cream gabardine coat created serenity while androgynous suits with desirable Hermes slip-on-sneakers, midi-structural dresses in print, pink silk shades and navy anoraks broke the monochrome. Most of the looks were accessorised by Hermes leather handbags and clutches featuring the perfect womanly silhouettes.

Conveying classical edges, Hermes SS15 comprised of pale layers and clean lines, offered generously chic utilitarianism fulfilling woman’s aspirations for all day elegant garments and reasserted, once again, why the French fashion empire is for more than 130 years at the top of the food chain, immortalising their iconic pieces.
