Prada delivers The Postman’s Gifts festive short films

AS a combination of hot chocolate and open fires takes the chill off us during the festive season, Prada sets to warm our hearts with their Postman’s Gifts short films directed by cinematic auteur Autumn de Wilde. “A gift to be enjoyed, a fantasy to be indulged,” the charismatic shorts feature the Prada Galleria bag as a major plot-point transports the viewer to a colourful world that avoids any reference to a particular time and place.

Starring names such as Elijah Wood and Emma Roberts, the clips are a sequel to the first project which debuted back in 2015. With four The Postman Dreams two episodes premiering this winter, each act hints at a larger story which have no certain chronological order. De Wilde has woven her visual, audio and narrative styles throughout the Prada movies to create a charming campaign that ultimately spotlights the luxury Galleria bag. The leather accessory matches a colour from the palette which the instalment saturates itself within, flaunting the abundance of colours the Galleria bag is available in.
