Serpentine Gallery announces programme of online projects

ALTHOUGH the gallery buildings are closed and live programmes now suspended, the Serpentine Gallery’s work continues with a series of online exhibitions, live broadcasts and a new podcast. With a whole host of online resources, the Kensington-based gallery offers us food for thought during our self-isolation.

Cao Fei’s Nova, 2019

Out of Blueprints, launched last week, is a new online exhibition realised in collaboration with K11 Art Foundation. Focusing on one artist and artwork each week, this special moving image programme features East Asia-based practitioners, with additional online content form the artists, curators and project advisors. New films will be added to the platform every Friday.

The Back to Earth podcast is an eight-part series which follows artists and art organisations developing projects, interventions and campaigns at the crossroads of art and the climate emergency. The podcast is part of a wider Back-to-Earth project, which invites artists to devise an environmental campaign to respond to contemporary ecological crises. Listen wherever podcasts are available or visit the Serpentine website.
