Taeyang is the star of the latest Givenchy menswear campaign

THE K-POP phenomenon and former Glass Man cover star Taeyang fronts the latest Givenchy global campaign, a moody yet piercingly intriguing series of images as envisioned by creative director Matthew M. Williams.

There’s a sort of energy that makes a Givenchy campaign complete. An understated sexuality and chicness that conjure up an immaculate visual intensity. The latest storyboard featuring Taeyang is no exception.

From side-on shots showcasing the beloved Giv Cut sunglasses, to full profiles that demonstrate the altered vision of masculinity posed by Williams, the campaign emotes a sort of modern gothic feeling that is expertly supported by the styling.

When talking about ambassador and campaign star, Williams said: “You can feel his presence: he has this easy, modern elegance and an edge — he clearly feels comfortable in the clothes and really personifies the House’s new aesthetic.” Seeing these images alone, it is almost impossible not to feel the superstars presence, and experience the way he effortlessly epitomises the modern Givenchy man.
