The Emblems Collection: Luxury Hotels for the Culturally Curious

A NEW portfolio from Accor applauds landmark hotels around the world that embody the spirit of their heritage locations and enhances them with exceptional levels of bespoke hospitality and guest experiences.

Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in Wiltshire, England

A hotel near Bath in the English countryside, Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa, launches the illustrious collection with its 42 individually designed rooms, suites and cottages that crystallise sophisticated country house living.

Building on this launch, other properties will follow in 2026: Rimrock Banff, surrounded by the majesty of the Canadian Rockies; Masseria Furnirussi, just 20 minutes from the Adriatic coast in Puglia; Relais San Clemente, built around a 14th-century Benedictine convent in Umbria; and,  in the centre of Sienna’s historic centre, Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti. The story will continue in 2027 with new Emblems Collection hotels in Greece and Italy; planning is in progress to add as many as 60 remarkable properties by 2032.

Crafted experiences relating to the identity of each hotel’s setting will encompass the region’s culinary traditions and guests will find breakfasts and à la carte menus that respect locally sourced ingredients. Exemplifying the Collection’s curatorial approach to the local character of its addresses, each hotel gathers a literary collection of texts inspired by the destination and its cultural distinctiveness, enabling guests to connect intellectually and affectingly with their surroundings.

Quiet luxury at Masseria Furnirussi

Hotels in the Emblems Collection champion a philosophy of quiet luxury in harmony with the attractions of their settings, and the art of living is reflected in celebrations of their locales. Handsomely preserved gardens, equestrian pursuits, tennis courts, forest trails, and leafy woodlands are open to guests at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa; a mountainside infinity pool and year-round activities in the nearby National Park await visitors to Rimrock Banff.

The refined retreat that is Masseria Furnirussi is set within the largest fig orchard in Europe, while Perugia, rich in Etruscan history, is only a short train ride away from Relais San Clemente. The finest vintages of Tuscany can be sipped alfresco in the garden of Palazzo Sozzini Malavolti, and dinner can be enjoyed in the restaurant where  golden arches frame the space like some fabulous pergola.
