MARKING the arrival of the Valentino Promenade Autumn 2022 collection, the house has launched a series of newly reformed Rockstud Spike bags championing versatility, practicality, and unadulterated expression.
As one of the most beloved bags of the past decade, the Rockstud Spike has never been one for the faint of heart, and now even less so with the latest iteration, which sees its shape exaggerated even further. Elongated to create a nineties silhouette, creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli has reimagined the accessory with extra padding, creating a puffy sort of look which enhances its distinctive shape even further.

Though by description it may seem as more of a statement piece than a practical accessory, it comes equipped with a handle that is lovingly placed between the shoulder straps, meaning it is entirely versatile and can be worn in a variety of different ways.
Coming in a varying range of bold colours, including gold, black, red, green and ivory, the bag harks back to the house codes of fine craftsmanship, while uplifting contemporary codes of design and disruption.
