MFW AW14: Jil Sander

Jil Sander hosted a catwalk show to debut her AW 14 catwalk collection in Italy during Milan Fashion Week.  The German designer’s latest collection was a group of mainly solid single coloured outfits in soft autumnal fabrics.

Mock necked to the knee jackets ever so slightly cut with an oversized silhouette in a light turquoise were paired with yellow brogues with black soles and laces.  The focus of the collection seemed to focus on outwear, with several more conservative choices of grey wool jackets in longer lengths and varied cuts.

For a more androgynous look, pantsuits in classic black and black brogues for the conservative fashionista as well as monochrome jumpers were tucked into black trousers and black brogues were paired with black handbags.

More feminine looks were also included and featured high waisted skirts ending above the knee in Autumn burnt orange or turquoise and featured soft looking wool and cashmere long sleeve jumpers tucked in to emphasise waistline of the skirt. Turquoises brogues were paired with the orange ensemble and dark orangey brown with the turquoise outfit.
