Spotlighting Richard Mille’s Watches for Women

ACROSS more than twenty years, Richard Mille’s ladies’ watches have been worn by women from film, music and elite sport.

Figures including Michelle Yeoh, Margot Robbie and Rihanna, alongside athletes such as tennis player Yulia Putintseva and Olympic dressage champion Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, have all worn the brand, combining technical credibility with stylish decoration to match.

Richard Mille

For the same period, Richard Mille has produced mechanical watches for women using the same materials, movements and production standards found across the rest of its collections. The approach is consistent, yes, they’re highly technical pieces, but also stunning objets d’art for the wrist.

Take the RM 037 and RM 07-01 models, both featuring tonneau-shaped cases and skeletonised automatic movements; they remain central references and have been designed to be loved and worn regularly, not just brought out for special occasions.

Richard Mille

Each model is powered by an in-house automatic calibre; the CRMA1 and CRMA2 movements are compact, openworked, and hand-finished, featuring materials including red and white gold, ceramic, and Carbon TPT. For the sparkle factor, these are set against diamond-set dials and ornamental stones such as onyx, jasper and mother-of-pearl.

Carbon TPT® presents particular challenges for gem-setting due to its layered composite structure and extreme hardness, differing significantly from traditional metals. In the Intergalactic collection, diamonds are set directly into this composite material using specially adapted tools and specialised techniques.

The RM 07-01 Starry Night features 181 diamonds, each mounted into hand-polished gold prongs before being individually embedded into the Carbon TPT® case – and it’s exactly the time for decorative diamond settings, with style and substance in balance.
