Milan Menswear AW15: Dolce & Gabbana

That wonderful A-team at D&G, Domenico and Stefano have done it again – giving us the menswear we want, need and love but also introducing our palate’s to something a little spicier. Elsewhere, AW menswear for Dolce and Gabbana this season meant that their dream man should be swathed in fur and other luxurious skins and fabrics to evoke the decadence that a palette of jet black, white and bloody crimsons can’t achieve alone. The duo have also paid close attention to what their younger paninaro boy might want nowadays, doubling up denim and adding varsity-esque jackets and other sporty quirks into the mix for a fun Americano vibe.

D&G’s combined love of family and, let’s be a little more specific here, the family that nurturing their empire has bore is evident more than ever in collections like this. Such a fluidity so present in each and every romantic design produced makes their world an infectious one which always keeps us coming back for more.
