Glass goes backstage at Michiko Koshino, LFWM18

TWENTY years on, the tastemakers and trends of the ‘90s are still highly relevant to the fashion that is produced today. Among the most highly regarded designers to emerge from this era was Japanese-born female artist Michiko Koshino, who became known for her unique approach to clothes orientated around the booming London club culture (and lifestyle). Now, Michiko Koshino is back and better than ever.

Never one to shy away from the maximalist approach, Koshino’s latest collection builds upon a repetoire that has impressed everyone from David Bowie to Stella McCartney to Moby. Think clashing colours, billowing silhouettes, and fabrics that range from bright turquoise furs to yellow lycra.

Fortunately enough for Glass Magazine, photographer William Green was able to obtain exclusive backstage access to bring you some shots of Koshino’s AW18 collection.
