The new book features a stunning collection of images showcasing some of the most fascinating and awe-inspiring places one can stay while on vacation. These images are not of your average Airbnb or Travel Lodge; rather, destinations like a Croatian monastery, Italian palazzo, or Japanese machiya townhouse. The book is an ode to true hospitality and the exchange of stories that take place while traveling.

“Secret Stays” takes its readers on a journey around the world, discovering hidden accommodation gems behind iron gates and barn doors. The book doubles as both a travel guide and interior decoration inspiration. It makes the perfect gift for any jet setter or a lovely addition to one’s own coffee table collection.

Not only has she written several books for Assouline and produced magazines for Belmond, she is also the Founder and Creative Director of the creative agency Salt Lick, with clients such as LVMH and Loupe. For this project, Stevens collaborated with Issy von Simon and Tabitha Joyce.

Renowned for their exceptional books and made with the highest level of care, Assouline’s “Secret Stays” is a wonderful addition to their artillery.
