Barbara Palvin unveiled as the latest Longines Ambassador of Elegance

SUPERMODEL Barbara Palvin has been announced as the newest addition to Longines Ambassadors of Elegance.

Palvin has partnered with the Swiss luxury watch brand to take on her new role alongside other famed names in Hollywood, such as Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet and Regé-Jean Page, to name a few.

When asked about her new endeavour, Palvin states, “Joining the prestigious family of Longines Ambassadors of Elegance is a real honour for me, as the value of innate elegance the brand stands for truly resonates with me, in every facet of my life. I cannot wait to develop this exciting partnership with the Longines team and I thank them for the trust they put in me representing the brand all over the world.”

What sets the Ambassadors of Elegance apart from others is not only their professional achievements but also their distinctive personalities and life experiences, a reason Longines believes the supermodel is the ultimate fit for the role.

Looking back at Palvin’s successes, in 2016, the model was named Rookie of the Year by Sports Illustrator, and three years following, she gained worldwide recognition for becoming a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Palvin also ranked 14th on Models.com on its Money List and Social List alongside winning Glamour Women of the Year in the Best Model category in 2011, 2012, and 2013, amongst various other awards such as International Model in 2021 at the Elle Style Awards.

The model has also dabbled in the movie industry, acting in various films such as Tyger Tyger, Herkules and recently, the 2023 film Serpentine.

Aside from the whirlwind that is her profession, Palvin enjoys the quiet life in her free time as she finds pleasure in the simplicities of life, such as fishing, spending time in nature, reading and cooking.

“We are thrilled to announce that Barbara Palvin has become an Ambassador of Elegance. Her noteworthy presence at the launch of the Mini DolceVita last year in New York already actually set the tone for this successful collaboration to come.

She is a pure expression of what true elegance is, but more than that, she embodies the contemporary and bold woman we have in mind when we create our products. Barbara is positive and radiant and her original take on elegance will add something very special to our future global campaigns.” — Matthias Breschan, CEO of Longines.
