THE new Dior Grand Bal Toile de Jouy watch has been released in a limited edition of just 88 pieces. It is equipped with the “Dior Inverse 11 1/2” calibre, featuring the patented and functional oscillating weight – aiming to “bring to life the universe of the Toile de Jouy”.
It is decorated with flowers, branches and leaves, which overlap to create an enchanting pattern across the entirety of the watch.
Additionally, this historic print of the Dior Maison, the Toile de Jouy, was used for the tapestry of the 30 Avenue Montaigne Boutique, as well as Monsieur Dior’s apartments.
The Dior Grand Bal Toile de Jouy
The body of the watch itself is crafted out of an impressive list of steel, pink gold, diamonds, sapphires and white mother-of-pearl. It measures in at 36mm and is both automatic and water resistant for up to 30 metres.
Dior has topped it off with a white calfskin strap with a blue Toile de Jouy pattern for a casual style, and then an additional navy alligator strap for the more special occasions.
