Dyson Drops the HushJet™ Mini Cool Fan

DYSON’S first portable handheld fan, the HushJet™ Mini Cool Fan, brings 17 years of airflow engineering into a compact format designed for use on the move. Developed as a wearable, desk fan and handheld device, the new launch places portability alongside performance.

Weighing just 212g (about the same as a phone), the fan is powered by a brushless DC motor and offers five speed settings, plus a Boost mode for increased output. The launch also introduces Dyson’s HushJet™ projection tech, which is developed to create a super-focused airflow while addressing acoustics alongside power.

On that, Dyson says, “Acoustics are as important as power. With the HushJet™ nozzle, we’ve lowered frequencies, eliminated high-pitched whirring and silenced the sound of whining motors. The result is powerful and pitch-perfect cooling.”

Available in three colourways, Ink/Cobalt, Carnelian/Sky and Stone/Blush, the HushJet™ Mini Cool Fan takes a considered approach to colour and finish. “With HushJet™ Mini Cool Fan, we wanted to create finishes that evoke emotion and context,” says Holly Holmes, Dyson Colour Materials and Finish Engineer.

“Bold contrasts for confidence, deep tones for sophistication and soft hues for calm. It’s about making engineering personal.” Accessories include a Neck Dock, Charging Stand, USB-C charging cable and Travel Pouch, with optional additions such as a Universal Mount and Grip Clip available separately.
