Le Monde Béryl’s poetic Pre-Fall 2025 drop

FOR Pre-Fall 2025, Le Monde Béryl presents a collection shaped by a wide range of references, described by creative director Lily Atherton Hanbury as “a collage of memories, travel, and art,” that carries through in the construction, materials and colour palette.

The Victoria heel is introduced as a key style for the season, with its subtle inward curve that creates a sense of movement, something Hanbury links to architectural forms, in particular Adam Richards’ Nithurst Farm, a building influenced by Tarkovsky’s 1979 film Stalker. Offered with either a kitten heel or pump heel, the style is finished with a pointed toe.

The collection’s palette includes rich and muted tones, among them asphalt, coco black, chestnut, date brown, silver and a tone referred to simply as pepe, with a deep plum shade running consistently throughout. Drawn from Hanbury’s memory of shoes worn by her mother in the ’80s, the plum tone appears across a number of the brand’s core styles, including the Babouche Kitten, Luna Boot, Mica and Stella Slipper.

New styles this season include the Antonia Sandal, which features a draped, knotted front and is offered in three versions: a flat, a kitten mule and a pump. The Erika Pump introduces a minimal low heel with a restrained nod to Art Deco, while the Luna Pump reworks one of Le Monde Béryl’s best-selling flats by adding a short heel and offering it in a selection of neutral and muted shades, including ecru, rouge, silver and taupe.

This line-up sits alongside an expanded range of boots, including the Allegra Chelsea and Allegra Mule, both available in multiple tones such as cow print. The Luna Over-the-Knee Boot draws from the shape and structure of waders or leather trousers.

Plus, following the success of a previous collaboration with Diemme, the Dolomite boot returns in black and brown suede with shearling, joined by a new leather Chelsea version available in black, brown and bordeaux.

Further detailing is seen in the reworking of the Micro Thong Wedge, now lined in shearling and offered in combinations such as black patent with black shearling and plum leather with latte shearling. The wedge heel is also integrated into the Victoria shape, appearing in the form of the new Victoria Micro Wedge Mule, which offers the pointed front with a sculpted wedge base that combines styles and comfort in the best way.
