This season Farrow’s superb specs eye up the upper echelons of style. In the latest ad campaign, the directional new frames are photographed by the Belgium-based photographer, and still life master, Frederik Vercruysse, who furnishes the campaign imagery with Zen minimalism.
Conveying a tranquil air of luxury exotica that the snakeskin-swathed sets of sunglasses lavish on any occasion, Glass bills them as the hottest option for summertime sun protection.
And a hankering for the jet-set ritz of the 1970s, sees Farrow draw inspiration from the balmy cosmetic pastels of the same decade, and rich burned metallic tones, hallowed with an unparalleled finish, take on fashion-forward shapes in a so called “adventurous exploration in eyewear”.
The label, that dates back to 1970, treads some interesting new ground for S/S 2014, and its hyper-luxe take on side-shielded shades certainly deserves the attention that it is sure to garner. So be on the lookout for a pair as soon as they become available.
