LOUIS Vuitton have renewed their commitment to aiding children in urgent need through their partnership with the humanitarian charity UNICEF. The Silver Lockit was inspired by the tumbler lock invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890, which was designed to fasten the House’s luxury luggage and safeguard clients’ valuable belongings. Louis Vuitton have reinterpreted this symbol of protection as an emblem of their commitment to helping vulnerable children.

For every Silver Lockit Fluo sold, £100 will be donated to UNICEF. Since launching the Silver Lockit as a pendant and bracelet in 2016, Louis Vuitton and UNICEF have raised over five million US dollars to provide support for children and families affected by humanitarian crises such as those in Syria and neighbouring countries. UNICEF supplies vulnerable children with safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, food and medical care, as well as clothing and blankets.
