GIORGIO Armani‘s SS20 collection at Milan Fashion Week presents us the classic tailored Armani style featuring a modern and playful twist. Through exquisite tailoring techniques, the collection features a subtle colour palette with moody hues of blue, earthy browns, bleached whites and calming greys. As a pop of colour bright red pieces command our attention but do not leave us overwhelmed.
The understated colours enhance Armani’s exquisite Italian tailoring through several three-piece suits, V-necked pin-striped vests and double-breasted jackets show off the classic Armani detail and the brand’s focus on fit.
Not all of the pieces are tailored or structured, Armani shows a duality in style with loosely-tapered trousers and t-shirts which, when paired together have us recall a breezy day on the beach. Geometric block patterns feature on lightweight sweaters and blazers, adding a classic sporty touch to the looks, showcased through the addition of  colourful tie scarfs and tinted sunglasses.
With their SS20 collection Armani finds the balance between structure and soft lines, between tailored and sport, further highlighting the duality in expression of the Armani Man’s sophisticated yet playful lifestyle.
