Peter Copping announced as Lanvin’s new Artistic Director

THE FRENCH couture house Lanvin has announced Peter Copping as its new Artistic Director.

Copping will take on the role at the house starting September this year and lead the brand’s menswear and womenswear collections.

The former Central Saint Martins and Royal College of Art graduate began his career at Sonia Rykiel, followed by his decade-long experience at Louis Vuitton, which concluded with his role as Creative Director at Nina Ricci and Oscar de la Renta. More recently, Copping took on the role of Head of Couture at Balenciaga, followed by Head of VIP and Special Projects.

Lanvin has a long-established history with 135 years behind it and a rich tradition. Over the last two years, the brand has chosen to grow with its customers and reframe itself within a contemporary landscape.
