The Stafford Collection has launched “at home” gourmet dining boxes for lockdown 3.0

WITH the UK now facing a third lockdown, eating out has once again been put on hold. Fortunately, for us food-aficionados, however, we won’t be completely without our indulgent dining treats.

Offering a mouth-watering selection of delicious seasonal dishes, the Stafford Collection has launched an “at home” gourmet dining box from each of its three blissful properties, containing everything you need to make a “full-on fabulous feast”.

The Stafford London’s January Feasting Box

The Stafford London, located in the heart of the historic St James’s, is bringing the delights of its award-winning The Game Bird restaurant right to your four walls. The Stafford London’s January Feasting Box costs £95 for two people and includes a truly sensational array of delights, from lobster vol au vent with pickled kohlrabi to soda bread and butter and a sticky toffee pudding with salted caramel sauce and clotted cream to top it all off.

Northcote Winter At Home Gourmet Box

Northcote’s Winter Gourmet Box

The Winter Gourmet Box, from Lancashire’s Northcote, offers up a warming feast by Executive Chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen. Priced at £100, the selection’s best picks include cedar plank chalk stream trout with warm tartare sauce and black lemon, Waterford Farm salt aged beef and marrowbone crust and hand-crafted hot chocolate to finish.

The Norma January Feasting Box

Last but by certainly no means least is the January Feasting Box, the cheapest of the three from £75 for two people, from the Fitzrovia-based Norma restaurant. Inspired by the food and culture of Sicily, the charming box offers up dishes such as focaccia with nocellara olives, slow cooked beef cheek, steamed cavolo nero with chilli and fried chickpea panelle with salsa verde.
