Versace brings colour to the forefront of Resort 2025

INSPIRED BY the young generation’s exuberant and empathetic nature, Donatella brought mix-matched outfits, prints and a lively colour palette to Versace’s Resort 2025 collection.

The youth’s sense of community informed the garment’s soft and warm materials, while their sense of attitude enlightened the embellishment of safety pins and dynamic silhouettes.

The women’s collection sees fuzzy knitwear, shearling trimmings, soft forms and quilted bags, offering an overall subdued aesthetic.

Additionally, round-neck cardigan jackets and pencil skirts inform traditionally tailored looks embellished with unexpected details, while oversized sweaters layer upon stirrup leggings as a play on proportionality.

Dalmatian and leopard prints inform various silhouettes, while shearling trims adorn jackets, tops, cardigans and dresses.

Transitioning from winter fashion to spring, the collection expands with denim dresses, Nappa leather jackets, body-sculpting trousers and dresses twisted and secured with safety pins.

As for graphics, the garments illustrate strawberries, ladybugs, and flowers, with additional embellishments being sequins, crystals, microbeads and metallic thread to create a clash within each look.

As for accessories, the collection sees foldable Protea bags crafted from Nappa plongé leather, Versace Tag bags in mini bowling, hobo and shoulder bag silhouettes and shoes featuring a Versace ‘V’ heel.

The men’s collection leads with burgundy tailored suits paired with pastel blue socks, while chic belts are stacked to portray a clashed effect and the Barocco print features in lime green devoré.

The collection expands with burgundy and black, highlighting meticulous forms of fitted tailored jackets, overshirts and pants, with the shapes further interpreted in hues of lime green and bright red.

The Versace Gallery print illustrates overshirts and fluid silk shirts, and the Strawberry Garden print is layered in distinct looks, providing a vibrant colour clash.

As for the men’s shoe collection, the Versace Mercury trainers see new colourways, while sandals, mules and boots feature a metal Medusa head.
