Virgil Abloh presents Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park in Paris

ENTITLED Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park, Artistic Director Virgil Abloh is unveiling a multifaceted month-long experience in Paris during Men’s Fashion Week. Available to be enjoyed by all, either in-person or digitally, this series of events expands on concepts that Abloh has implemented into the men’s side of the French fashion house – focusing on inclusivity and the relationship between the designer and customers.

Louis Vuitton: Walk in the Park – Temporary Residency

Situated on the Rue du Pont Neuf, a Temporary Residency invites you to explore the world of accessories and sneakers from the spring-summer 2019 to the most recent spring-summer 2021 collections. This is a unique opportunity to get your hands on limited-edition collectables like trainers, jewellery and sunglasses – usually a difficult task to try and get yourself a piece.

Also, there will be a Hall of Fame starring the five rarest and most exceptional editions of the LV Trainer – first introduced at the SS19 show. For one week only, the LV Trainer Upcycling from the SS20 collection will be launched in five new colourways, including a special 95 pairs exclusive to Paris.

The Louis Vuitton Cuban chains and 1.1 Millionaires sunglasses will be on display too. Twelve never-seen-before pieces will be on display on the numerals of an enormous clock at the installation – hinting back to the FW20 show where time was a central theme.

In the same way, as the trainers have special editions, the chains come in a small-restock of previous versions, as well as a one dedicated to this exhibition. The 1.1 Millionaires, originally designed by Nigo and Pharrell Williams in 2004, the reinterpreted sunglasses can be obtained ahead of the summer months.
