Paris Menswear AW15 : Hermes

Hermes menswear AW15 in Paris presented a show of symmetry, elegance, and simple finesse with classy and casual garments with clean refined lines.

To commence, boys walked in classic tuxedos in grey, blue and pinstriped shades accessorized by colorful scarves and briefcase bags to evolve later into luxurious casualness with lots of turtleneck and loose sweaters matched with structural blazers and cardigans. Also leather mink lined jackets and tweed overcoats, a crocodile blouson, and jumpsuits paired with ties blended even more the already vague limits of formality and casualness.

It was probably unintentional, but the slightly high waist trousers with the tucked silk shirts inside, adorned in circular shapes by Richard Gorman’s Squeeze paintings, gave an ‘80s air and offered a break from the undoubtedly classy, although conservative, monochrome.

This collection epitomised how formal and luxurious Hermes pieces can be brilliantly matched and worn in a way to offer looks suitable for all times and places.
