Boodles celebrates 25 years of Raindance

UK-BASED luxury jewellery house, Boodles is known for its exquisite craftsmanship, family legacy, and rich heritage that dates back to 1798, creating elegant diamond and gemstone pieces that combine traditional artistry with a bit of contemporary British flair.

Now, the beloved brand marks another significant milestone in its history with 25 years of one of its most treasured designs, the Boodles’ Raindance.

It all started with a visit to the Chelsea Flower Show 25 years ago, when the Boodles’ Director of Design, Rebecca Hawkins noticed the play of light on raindrops–this had a lasting effect on her, and so the Raindance Collection followed, with platinum-set pieces that nodded to delicate droplets glistening in the sun. And now, a quarter of a century later, Boodles’ garden at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show will be named the “Boodles Raindance Garden,” bringing the journey full circle.

To mark the milestone, the brand has launched the Raindance 25 anniversary collection that adds a new take on the classic designs, featuring its boldest setting to date, offering the the rarest of stones, the Argyle pink diamonds that sit alongside signature white diamonds that define the original design.

On the milestone, James Amos, Boodles Managing Director, says, “In 2025 we’re celebrating 25 years of Raindance, sparkling like raindrops in the sun. Little did we realise two and-a-half decades ago that we’d just created what would go on to be Boodles’ most cherished collection.”

Quintessentially British, the collection celebrates the beauty of the great outdoors and the playful scattering of raindrops while embodying Boodles’ signature individuality—honouring its heritage while finding joy in reimagining an icon.

With a legacy itself, the Raindance ring is part of the Victoria and Albert Museum’s permanent jewellery exhibition, Best of British Design, and so makes the ideal setting for the launch of the newest collection: Raindance 25.
