THE iconic red-soled shoe brand, Christian Louboutin, beloved around the world has introduced a new range of men’s loafers for its SS17 footwear line-up. Including moccasins and loafers, the shoes are a bright and fresh addition to the current range, which emphasises quality and craftsmanship. Inspired by portrait sittings, Paris-based photographer René Habermacher captured the shoes in all their glory in an evocative photo series.

Featuring the red-sole so synonymous with the Louboutin brand, these new season shoes include a classic pair of oxblood patent leather moccasins, an edgier studded fringed leather loafer and a bright yellow, summery suede loafer. Whilst slightly more casual than previous lines with a newly curved vamp and higher toe spring, these still time-honoured shoes have a relaxed elegance, the perfect addition to the Louboutin range.
The Explomoc shoe headlines the collection. Inspired by the West Coast, this loafer balances the timeless shoe style with cool modernity in the form of a laser-cut geometric collage embellishment, evoking the palm trees of California.
