Gucci teams up with NewJeans’ Hanni for latest campaign

CELEBRATING the legacy and history of the iconic Horsebit emblem, Gucci has just unveiled a new campaign featuring global brand ambassador Hanni.

Starring the Horsebit 1955 bag and the Horsebit 1953 loafers, the campaign takes to the streets of Seoul for its exciting setting.

Introducing new styles of the Horsebit 1955 bag exclusive to South Korea, the campaign taps into the House’s timeless equestrian heritage. The bag appears in three fresh finishes, each crafted in different materials in Gucci Rosso Ancora.

The Horsebit motif has long adorned various belts, jewellery pieces, shoes and ready-to-wear throughout the years – a testimony to its versatility and flair.

The campaign shows the NewJeans singer posing confidently with the classic bag against a backdrop of legendary landmarks. Meanwhile, Hanni is also seen wearing the Horsebit 1953 loafer, making her one of the first females to wear the shoe in an official Gucci campaign.

Since being introduced in 1953, the Horsebit 1953 explores a new elegant ideal. Sporty, casual, sensual and practical, the loafer is the first shoe made by the House.

Directed by Sabato De Samo and lenses by Tyrell Hampton, the latest imagery further cements the loafers and the bag as classic, quintessential Gucci staples.
