Kat Von D Beauty launches Basket Case

IN an exclusive collaboration, tattoo artist and vegan beauty brand founder Kat Von D – and long-term friend and Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong have paired up to create the ultimate black eye pencil, named after one of the band’s biggest hits – Basket Case.

Synonymous for his signature guy-liner since the nineties, Armstrong has mastered the technique of the perfect black smudged eye. With this release, customers are now able to experiment with the look themselves, whether looking to create a smokey eye, a grunge look or a simple cat-eye.

Basket Case has a creamy texture, allowing plenty of room for smudging before setting firmly in place. The chubby pencil and intense pigment makes lining the eye fast and effortless, and as a vegan ambassador, Kat Von D ensures that every product in her beauty range is cruelty-free and vegan friendly. Blurring lines is not for the faint-hearted, securing Basket Case as a product for the fearless and the daring.
