LOUIS Vuitton have announced the second wave of their Masters collection, an art-inspired set of luxury accessories decorated with the works of the most inspirational artist in history. The ambitious project is led by contemporary artist Jeff Koons who additionally weaves in symbols of his work within the project. Whilst the first capsule with Koons took the work of the likes of Da Vinci and Van Gogh, this time round the focus is on a new batch of icons including Monet and Gauguin.

Combining the printed art pieces with a complimentary colour and finishing it off with block gold lettering spelling out the painter’s surname makes for a striking look that still ensures it is recognisable to the brand. Koons is known to play with popular culture and as he continues to collaborate with the French fashion house, the merging of contrasting cultures makes for bold fashion statements.

With a focus on some of the greatest impressionist artist to grace the Earth this time round, each piece in the collection is sure to make an impression and prove to be as popular as the first wave released earlier in the year.
