The line comprises of a series of garments and leatherwear that remixes the classic LV monogram and Damier check iconography: the combined creative genius of Abloh and Nigo applied to iconic Louis Vuitton craftsmanship.
Nigo, founder of BAPE, Human Made, and co-founder of Billionaire Boys Club, is known for his pop inspired graphic work, a style he introduces to Abloh’s reimagination of Louis Vuitton.

A patchwork of enlarged and minimised Damier checks and revamped monograms that echo Nigo’s Human Made is cast over both tailored pieces and loungewear. The traditional pattern is abstracted to a juxtaposition of checks both big and bold, and small and delicate. Cartoonish motifs adorn bags, and a Mount Fuji graphic is splashed across the back of jackets.
Blue denim, charcoal grey, and the warm tans and chocolate browns of classic LV leatherwork are translated to the collection’s soft, luxurious textures. The playful style of the two designers buoys up this travel orientated collection with Nigo’s Tokyo imagery and Abloh’s futuristic vision.
