Subtle Energies
And now for something completely different. Whilst what you put on your face is, of course, important in ageing well, your skin is a window into your body’s state of health as a whole and reveals a much deeper picture of whether there is disharmony below the surface.
Subtle Energies is a range of products based on the ancient Indian life science of Ayurveda – the oldest system of science in the world. The concept of Ayurveda hinges on balancing the three main doshas, vata, pitta and Kapha, which each of us have in varying degrees. When one dosha becomes out of balance, health and skin problems ensue. But ayurvedic herbs can restore order. This is where Subtle Energies products come in.
Created by Farida Irani, an ayurvedic practitioner and clinical aromatherapist, Subtle Energies products harness the medicinal powers of essential oils which are thought to possess the very life force of a plant. Through the careful blending of powerful ayurvedic herbs and oils, Farida has created a range of products which help restore balance to the body and mind – and therefore the skin.
