Sunspel launches fourth fragrance Green Cedar

IF YOU’RE on the hunt for the perfect fresh scent to transcend you from spring into summer then Green Cedar by Sunspel will satisfy all your crisp desires.

By creating a summery twist on classic British luxuries, we are presented with a variety of woody notes that follow tart citrus flavours such as sharp, sparkling lemon hints that are matured by orange and mandarin layers. We also pick up breezes of galbanum, cypress, rosemary and fir balsam that contrast the above seamlessly to bring an aromatic warmth into the palette.

Now it wouldn’t be a British Summertime without the essence of greenery involved, hence why Sunspel drops a bundle of angelica into the mix to highlight those muskier, earthy tones, and also subtle hints of floral and woody delights like petitgrain absolut to help tie the elements together.

Inspiration for this concoction is drawn from the Cornish coast, specifically after wandering amongst the clifftops that offer tremendous views of not only the sea and sand but of the dewy green fields too. Perfumer Lyn Harris comments that “Green Cedar’s an escape into the English countryside, it has a relaxed, comfortable feel that’s genderless and easy foreveryone to wear. It really touches you. To me, it represents England, just like Sunspel.”
