IN THE WORLD of comfort cuisine, nothing captures indulgence quite like a well-crafted burger. At Heard, a new smashed burger concept from Michelin-starred chef Jordan Bailey, that indulgence aims to turn a familiar favourite into something far more special.
Having just opened its Soho location, Heard is already attracting attention by serving an array of freshly prepared milkshakes, crisp side salads, and aged British beef patties.
Heard Burger Soho
What makes this dining spot unique is the thought behind each burger. Bailey spent over a year touring the UK in the Heard food truck, refining every recipe through countless trials. The result? Simple yet precise cuisine.
Despite Bailey’s Michelin-starred background, the burgers at Heard remain refreshingly accessible and offer indulgent yet approachable comfort food for anyone exploring central London.
A standout dish is the Boring Burger, crafted with a double smash patty, aged cheddar, white onion, Heard sauce, pickles, and an optional flourish of caviar. For vegetarian visitors, the Wild Umami burger features a double smash spiced black bean and wild mushroom patty, aged cheddar, kimchi, green leaf, Heard sauce, and pickles.
The Boring Burger
In conclusion, Heard may harness familiar flavours, but the execution is anything but banal. It’s a reminder that even the simplest dishes feel special when crafted with care.
