Below are instructions for setting up your Glass email address with Gmail.
You will have been given a username and password, these will be noted below as user and pass, replace these as required.
Getting your Glass emails from Gmail
To set up the Glass email, go into Settings on your Gmail (the cog in the top right). The select Accounts and Import then select Add a POP 3 mail account that you own.
In the popup window put in your glass email address:- user@theglassmagazine.com
Click next, it will then ask you for a user name and password. Yours is:
User: user@glasswp
Password: pass
Leave the rest of the settings as they are. Add a label if you want that to make things easier to filter.
That’s it set up, but you then will want to let Gmail send from that address, so click next step.
Sending From Glass
Put in your name, leave the rest as is and click next step.
Again put in your glass user & pass, leave the rest the same and click Add Account.
You will shortly receive a verification email which will give you the code to put into this window, or alternatively there should be a link in that email that will verify the email.
That’s you finally all set up to send and receive with your Glass email account.
Signatures
We have a standard signature for our Glass Accounts. To set this up click on the General setting tab. Scroll down and you’ll see the signature section. Select your glass email address from the drop down, fill in the text box below with the signature as below.
There are three things you have to change. Your name, Your title (both right at the top) and a bit further down, your mobile number (where it says xxxx-yyy-zzz).
