Glass gets a backstage pass at Akris SS25

IT WAS after the collaboration with German choreographer John Neumeier earlier this year for the costumes for the ballet, Epilogue, that Akris‘ creative director, Albert Kriemler became fixated with Piero della Francesca.

Evolving this fascination with the Early Renaissance, the designer found himself immersed in art and then entirely enchanted by Andrea Mantegna’s Camera degli Sposi. Bringing the same subdued hues to spring-summer 2025, curves and fine-tuned detailing were the main ingredients for this collection.
