Glass reviews CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream

IF YOUR heels, like mine, look like a geographical illustration of global warming, complete with deep fissures and a painfully arid dermatological equivalent to really bad topsoil, you will be more than interested in any balms, like this one – CeraVe SA Renewing Foot Cream – “for extremely dry, rough, bumpy skin.”

Note the total lack of soft sell, pedicure-y verbiage about it being self-care or a luxury treat for the feet. This product is for very dry, messed-up feet, and if this is you, this is the right stuff. If it’s not you – and your feet are a bit dry and out of condition – this is also for you, you just might not appreciate it as much.

CeraVe Renewing Foot Cream SA

Now as with other deeply moisturising products for your terrible tootsies, this cream is meant to show results after a few applications, with its “multivesicular emulsion” which means it is time released and works right away – and for longer. It contains the footcare essentials, salicylic acid and ceramides, which help trap moisture.

I can tell you faithfully, and being of gravely fissured footage, that this stuff works after one overnight application.  You slather it on clean feet, put on socks so it doesn’t mess your sheets, and wake up with feet so different to the ones you went to sleep with, you sort of look for the other person who might be attached to these smooth, silky feet.

It does not have that heavy Vaseliney feel of other foot products, and doesn’t have any scent, medicinal or otherwise. At under a tenner, this is easy on your wallet and mega, on your feet.
