Gucci honours a decade of Gucci CHIME with a new equality film series


A decade since its discovery, co-founded by two of the most empowering women in the arts, Beyoncé and Salma Hayek Pinault, Gucci CHIME returns with a catalogue of videos celebrating 10 years of impact and pushing for greater equality between genders all over the world. 

After a decade of activism, Gucci CHIME has seen immense success. Through events such as the The Sound of Change: Live performance in London which hosted a pool of international talent, to informatives like this one, the campaign has raised 21.5 million dollars, and impacted the lives of over 635,000 girls and women in 92 countries through over 500 different projects.

Now, the initiative returns with a series of videos directed by Academy-Award winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, featuring an arsenal of creatives and activists including the likes of: Annie Lennox, Idris Elba, Alia Bhatt and Serena Williams, discussing what equality means to them.

The project ushers in a new decade of activism, for the house and the campaign, and continues to champion the excellent and dedicated work by co-founders Knowles-Carter and Hayek Pinault.
