IN AN EXCITING culmination of its travel and culture, Louis Vuitton has announced the opening of a new store and Le Café by celebrated chef Cyril Lignac at London Heathrow’s Terminal 2.
Intentionally situated to serve both domestic and international travellers, this intimate café makes a lovely complement to the striking new store– featuring a tailored aerodynamic façade designed in collaboration with Marc Fornes of The Verymany.
Fornes, known for his innovative designs, previously partnered with Louis Vuitton for a pavilion installation at the 2023 Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan. This latest project continues to explore cutting-edge technology and shapes, honing in on the Maison’s long-standing inspiration akin to the world of travel.
Ever since 2020, Louis Vuitton has embraced hospitality as an extension of its craftsmanship, establishing over 20 unique dining and lounge experiences worldwide. From the chic Le Café V in Ginza to seasonal pop-ups in St. Tropez, each venue is a hallmark of the essence of Louis Vuitton.
The new café in London marks the brand’s first venture in the UK, relaying a blend of classic French and international dishes curated by Lignac, whose culinary prowess includes a Michelin-starred restaurant and acclaimed patisseries.
As travellers step into this open, futuristic pavilion, they’ll discover a curated selection of women’s and men’s accessories alongside the café, featuring a serene, curvilinear interior adorned in warm orange and gold tones.
This eclectic space promises a characteristic Louis Vuitton experience, opening to the public on Monday, 30 September 2024.
