Sea Containers London
Giving prominence to female photographers for the 2019 event, Photo London, set to showcase at Somerset house, featuring work from Rachel Louise Brown, including her latest project, Simulations. Curated by Maggie O’ Regan, the work, made up of a four-year collaboration between the artist and Palm Beach photographic Centre in Florida, will be available to view in the UK for the first time.
Fusing risk and exploration into Simulations, Brown created her work by wandering the streets of West Palm beach alone at night, forming the exhibition from stimulated environments, alongside this working with local strangers and cinematic portraits, forming a visual that allows viewers to question the fabrication of reality.
A satellite exhibition of browns original photographic prints that made up Simulations, will be available to view at Sea Containers London, in a brand-new gallery space from the 16thof May.

To celebrate the partnership, Sea Containers London, has created a new cocktail at their rooftop bar, 12thKnot. The new mix dedicated to the Photo London event, combines refreshing flavours of lemon juice, orgeat, bourbon, lillet Rosé and covert to create a blend of flavours, complimentary to the nature of the event, fittingly named The Pixel.
