The National Gallery showcases Pictures Around Cromer – the first exhibition of images of paintings that can be downloaded for free


THE Nation Gallery has created the first exhibition, titled Pictures around Cromer, where images of the gallery’s paintings can be downloaded for free. Covering around 30 life-size replica artworks, Pictures Around Cromer works as an outdoor exhibition across the seaside town of Cromer in Norfolk.

Visitors can discover the art pieces of the National Gallery Collection in various locations all around the town which are always accompanied by a label filled with information on the specific artwork as well as a QR code linking to further resources.

Every year, the National Gallery organises artistic exhibitions across the UK in various innovative ways, encouraging everyone to engage with the national collection of art and enrich their lives. This year’s Pictures Around Cromer is no different, presenting the exceptional art pieces in the beautiful seaside town that is Cromer.
