NICOLAS Di Felice’s latest campaign for the luxury French fashion house, Courrèges, casts an optimistic eye over the new year.
The creative director took out an ad in the back pages of the French daily newspapers Le Monde, Le Figaro and Libération consisting of the word courage printed in the label’s signature font on a crisp white background. Strikingly minimal in its design, the brand’s name appears in small lettering in the lower right-hand corner of the page.

Felice also had the same word painted on two walls in the Marais and Canal Saint-Martin districts of Paris, projecting the hopeful message for all to see.

“Since its creation 60 years ago, optimism has been at the very heart of Courrèges,” says the House. “In 2021, they stand for hope and togetherness. They wish you love and courage for this new year. They painted courage on blank spaces, and printed courage on blank pages for new beginnings, hopes and dreams.”
