THE sister restaurant to Harry’s Bar in Mayfair, Harry’s Dolce Vita, is taking reservations ahead of its upcoming launch. The restaurant has been decorated in a similar 1950s or ‘60s Italian glamorous style to Harry’s Bar with murano glass, vintage brass features, and Fortuny silk fabrics.
The cuisine at Harry’s Dolce Vita is unfussy, classic Italian food sourced from the country’s best producers. The dinner menu is organised to encourage guests to create their own multi-course Italian feast. Dinner highlights include Carpaccio di Manzo, an appetiser of raw sliced beef with Cipriani mustard dressing, rocket and parmesan, Harry’s Tagilioni, which is gratinated tagliolini pasta with truffle, parmesan and cream.
Additionally, Nero pizza, handmade 72-hour delicately spiced, black squid ink dough topped with smoked salmon, sliced avocado, dill sour cream, red onion and rocket, and Linguine Vongole, fresh palourde clams sautéed with white wine, garlic, chilli and parsley. Harry’s Dolce Vita also has an extensive European-inspired breakfast and brunch menu.

Alongside excellent, traditional food, the restaurant has designed a unique cocktail menu. As well as an extensive list of classic cocktails, the bar staff at Harry’s have added their own twist to some commonplace drinks — such as the Espresso Martini and the Bellini. In addition, guests can build their own Negroni by choosing their preferred gin, sweet vermouth, and bitter apertivo.
