A CEREMONY that has seem to come around in a whirlwind, Wedgwood are commemorating King Charles III’s ascension to the throne with a range of keepsake mugs.
Boasting a design adapted from the work of graphic designer Richard Guyatt, that first appeared on the Wedgwood mug for the 1953 coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, the new rendition is a tailored memorabilia of a new era in British history.

King Charles III’s feathery monogram is plastered upon the centre of the mugs in pale grey, while the year hallmark “2023” sits below. Each piece, crafted by a pool of skilled craftspeople, is finalised with the words “God Save the King” and a 22-carat gold lining.
In addition to a mainline of ceramics, Wedgwood have also released an additional 100 special editions mugs, featuring 22-carat hand raised details and number one to 100 to distinguish authenticity.
