FOUNDED by Sophia Chikovani, London-based luxury beauty brand Code8 is on a mission to simplify make-up and in a genius move, it has now launched its personalised beauty service, known as the Bespoke Lipstick Bar.
Offered at its flagship store in Burlington Arcade, the Bespoke Lipstick Bar is an industry first, inspired by Chikovani’s childhood memories of watching her artist aunt blend lipsticks to achieve her perfect shade.

Yes, you’ve guessed it, here you can attain the perfect lipstick tailored to your skin tone, vibe, and look — especially helpful for those who want to attain that perfect red or nude lip which is deceptively difficult to find or to even replicate a discontinued shade, the experts combine technology and their knowhow to create any lipstick shade, finished in a creamy or matte texture.

For 45 minutes a dedicated expert will assess the colour profile, and then blend primary colours to create the custom shade. Once sampled, the formula is melted, poured into the mould and frozen in place – ready to be named and worn. Handily, Code8 Beauty will also make a file of the signature shade breakdown for future orders.
