Chloë Sevigny becomes the Snow Queen for Chopova Lowena’s Conversations with Angels

TAPPING ‘it’ girl Chloë Sevigny for their third book, cult-brand Chopova Lowena launches Conversations with Angels.

Transforming the Academy-award nominated actor into the Snow Queen, the story reimagines the classic childhood Danish fairytale into a modern ode that encapsulates both the magic of the story and the intricacy of their AW23 collection.

Conversations with Angels (£30.00)

Lensed in both New York and London by long-time collaborator Charlotte Wales, the book is crafted through to emphasis themes of friendship and the overcoming of evil – the basis of any good story.

“We love creating books because it gives us a chance to completely express our vision in such a meaningful way,” explain the designers.

The star of the story expresses her love for the brand, “Chopova Lowena creates pieces that are punky, glitzy, graphic and childlike so I was excited to be part of their fairytale project… I think we’ve made something really special”.

Alongside the ethereal images, Nigerian-American multi-hyphenate Precious Okoyomon was commissioned to bring the story to life through her words, adding a further poetic element to the book.

With fairytales a distant memory from our younger years, Laura and Emma’s version of a well-known tale through the eye of their brand is a beautiful extension to the sporty, folklore sphere that they have cultivated for themselves.
