DYSON’s newest beauty tech, the Airwrap Coanda 2x multi-styler and dryer, has officially launched today – the latest iteration of its cult at-home styling tool.
Powered by Dyson’s most advanced motor yet, the Hyperdymium 2, it delivers double the air pressure for faster drying, smoother straight styles and easier curls, all without heat damage.
Dyson has also packed in some clever new features such as the curling barrels which now use i.d. curl™ technology, an intelligent sequence that adjusts heat and airflow to deliver consistent curls, and for extra cleverness personalisation is available through the MyDyson app.

Each of the six styling attachments is fitted with an RFID chip that automatically tweaks temperature and airflow based on your hair type, and thanks to its 6-in-1 versatility, this Airwraps lets you dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth or volumise all with one tool.

Designed with hair health in mind the tools are all about protecting hair from heat damage, Rob Smith, Dyson Senior Principal Scientist, says: “Hair health is always our priority when developing new machines and formulations. Compact, lightweight and made for day-to-day use, it’s available in Ceramic Pink and Jasper Plum. Each set includes six attachments tailored for either Straight + Wavy or Curly + Coily hair, all packaged in Dyson’s signature case.
