SHINING a light on creative talent, The Peninsula Hong Kong has just announced the launch of its 2025 Art in Resonance programme. Since its debut in 2019, the programme has worked to support and promote emerging and mid-career artists.
This year, the showcase is taking place during Hong Kong Art Week and will feature commissioned works from Hong Kong artists Phoebe Hui and Chris Cheung (widely known as h0nh1m). The final commissioned artwork comes from Shanghai-based artist Lin Fanglu, in partnership with the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum.
From late March through May 2025, these innovative works will transform the flagship hotel’s public spaces, weaving even more creativity into the hotel’s sophisticated interiors. The exhibited works in this year’s Art in Resonance will remain at The Peninsula Hong Kong through May and then will travel to other Peninsula properties.

“This exhibition represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to nurturing artistic creativity and cultural exchange,” explains Gareth Roberts, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Peninsula’s parent company, The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited.
“We are particularly excited to partner with the V&A to bring this work, and future artworks to the museum’s display. Our collaboration will cultivate a broader audience for these superbly talented artists.”

Alongside the exhibition, The Peninsula Hong Kong is offering a series of art-orientated experiences. For example, a celebratory Afternoon Tea is taking place at The Lobby and features pastries inspired by the exhibited artworks.
Alternatively, guests can enjoy creative cocktails, which have been carefully crafted to complement the artistic displays. Finally, the hotel is also offering an exclusive The Art of Luxury stay package, which includes the Art in Resonance guided tour and afternoon tea experience.
